A Quarter of a Carat

Mona, a wife and mother, devoted her life to her husband and children, denying herself the simplest needs to help her husband chase his dreams — until she finally reaches her own biggest dream: a new apartment she furnished herself. The dream turns into a nightmare when she discovers that her husband Ahmed has secretly taken a second wife and is living with her in the very apartment Mona sacrificed for. He then divorces her, refuses to support her and his children, and sells the home — plunging Mona into a bitter battle with divorce, alimony, work and society's view of a divorced woman.
