Its Weight in Gold

Three girls, three sports, three very different journeys — bound by a single dream: to reach the Olympics and make history, even when the people closest to them don't always believe they can. Three Egyptian champions in three different disciplines share the dream of representing Egypt at the Games, but the road to a medal runs through far more than training and competition: Hedaya Malak faces the decision to retire after injuries and mounting pressure threaten her career, Feryal Ashraf fights to prove her talent in a sport those around her fear is too dangerous, and Samar Hamza struggles to establish herself in wrestling against her family's objections and the heartbreak of defeat. Between injuries, family pressure, emotional crises and doubt, the three wage a grueling journey toward the Olympics and a place among Egypt's greatest champions.
