What Remains

After her husband's sudden death, Yasmine finds herself a widow responsible for three children — but her greater shock comes when she discovers that the father's death does not make her the full decision-maker in her children's lives. Their paternal grandfather interferes in their upbringing and schooling, moving them from private schools to public ones and barring his granddaughter from traveling to compete in sports championships. Between the debts her husband left behind, her fight to protect her children's future, and the clash with her father-in-law over her right to raise them, Yasmine enters a legal battle for educational guardianship — discovering that the hardest thing after losing her husband is not providing for her children, but defending her right to be the mother who shapes their future.
